But if you are using Chrome os or Chromebook, you can use a specific keyboard shortcut, or use the Google Chrome settings to change the Chrome display orientation. There are three different ways to rotate screens on Google chrome.

Rotate Google Chrome screen Using Keyboard Shortcut

This is the easiest and quickest way to rotate screens on Google Chrome. This method only involves a keyboard shortcut. By pressing the Ctrl, Shift, and the Refresh key from your Chromebooks keyboard, you can easily rotate your Chromebook screen.

To flip your Chromebooks screen using the keyboard shortcut, press and hold the Ctrl+Shift +Refresh Key on your keyboard at once.

Note: The Refresh Key looks like a circle with an arrow and it will be located just above the Numbers 3 and 4 on your keyboard.

After you press and hold the key combination you can now see a popup that will come on the Chromebook screen that is asking you if you want to rotate your screen, from there click on the Continue button.

Now, your Chromebook screen will initially rotate 90 degrees clockwise. By repeating this process your Chromebooks screen will rotate 90 degrees every time from the previous state. That means If you want to get back your Chromebooks screen at the previous state, you need to do this, 4 times.

Rotate the screen on Google Chrome Using Settings

This is another way to rotate the screen on Google Chrome. With this method, you can rotate your screen not just 90 degrees but in any orientation you want.

So if you want to try this then do the below steps:

  1. Click on the Action Center located in the bottom-right corner of the taskbar.
  2. Then click on Settings (it’s a Gear icon).
  3. In the left sidebar, you can see the Device option, click on it.
  4. Now you have to choose Displays.
  5. Open the Orientation dropdown menu.
  6. Here you have to select the new orientation degree that you want from the dropdown menu.
